Annual Summer School Outreach – Word Camp

The CMC Summer School is a transformative 5-day program designed to nurture children’s spiritual growth, character development, and love for God’s Word in a fun and engaging way. Through Bible- based teachings, worship, creative activities, and interactive learning, children will grow in faith while building friendships in a Christ-centered environment. Our dedicated volunteers will serve as teachers, administrators, and support staff, ensuring a meaningful experience for all.

How it started

The vision for CMC Summer School was birthed from a deep burden for children in low-income communities in Alaguntan, Ajah. During the long holidays, I would often see these children roaming the streets without care or purpose. Their parents, struggling to make ends meet, could not afford structured programs to engage them. Many of these children were left idle, vulnerable, and without access to learning opportunities.

Moved by this reality, we launched the first CMC Summer School in August 2023—a free, faith-based summer program designed to give these children a place to learn, play, and grow in the love of Christ.

Since its inception, the CMC Summer School has been a beacon of hope, providing children with a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Many have discovered and encountered the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

To raise an army of children living and burning with the indestructible word of God – to build a generation of children who know and love God, are grounded in His Word, and are equipped for a life of purpose.
